I was jsut wondering if I could use a Motorola A840 on the cingular network? Because I would like to buy one, but I'm with Cingular Wireless.

No, the A840 will not work on Cingular. It is a CDMA phone not a GSM phone. Finally, someone more white trash than I am. 😉

I was about to get really mad because I thought you were calling them white trash because they didnt know GSM/CDMA. But then I saw the PS....hahaha

You should do your research before you speak. The Motorola A840 is a CDMA phone and also a GSM phone but it does not support the frequencies that Cingular uses, only the GSM 900/1800 but it is a GSM phone. 🙄

First of all, get your dinky winky out of my ass, because YOU are wrong.

If you will do YOUR research it picks up the 900/1800mhz frequency overseas. So no it is not compatable with Cingular, ya dumbshit.

Trust me I won't post if I have no idea what I am talking about.
