I dont think that anyone will know that until closer until to the end of the month, but I may be wrong. Im just guesstimating on what Cingular usually does. Its time.

i know what it will be in my market, but due to company policy i can't say. let's just say it will be worth waiting til after June 1st

let me ask u something.. this is has nothin to do with the phone my signal on my v551 is inconsistant an it just started should i change out my simcard? if not what can i do?

the sim card shouldn't make a difference. the one thing you could try to do is ask someone (either in store or thru cust. serv.) to resend yuor IRDB. if that doesn't help, then it could either be the phone or the area (more likely the area)

when you say the signal is inconsistent, do you mean that the "bars" jump alot, or that your ACTUAL reception on calls varies greatly?

if it's just jumping bars, but same reception - dont worry about. any Engineer will tell you signal strength bars mean almost nothing avo...

I think i have the same reception in the same places but i will try the IRDB thing u requested. I think the bars just goes from 4 to 5 bars to none but it changes after i reset my network or wait a second.

hey when is the last time you turned you phone off ? if you turn your phone off at least once a week that will help insure that you recieve the most current irdb
