Cust Serv Heads up!!!

I just wanted to try & help out to let the Cust Serv Rep's know DMDR Telesales only handles Brand New Cust's or adding additional lines.

We are not allowed to upgrade,migrate, or ship phone only.

Also there are alot of Telesales Rep's who won't help if Cust Serv calls with questions or such because they are making it a point to write people up for not making 12% close ratio on sales.So, now if it's not a sale of a new activation we can get wrote up.

I just wanted to give ya a heads up about it.

Well, sounds like your on the sales side of DMDR....well, I'm on the ssg side, so let me add my piece...HEY!!! Customer care reps!!! You know the part in care or telegence that specifies the originating point of sale??? It's usually called an AGENT CODE!!! DMDR can only support their own sales...so if it came from CLM, or sbc or bellsouth, or anywhere else, please transfer the call accordingly. All it does is piss people off when we have to transfer them again. We may be sales, but we aren't the ONLY sales....

But if we stopped & asked more questions to the cust to determine were it came from instead of saying "let me get them off my line", there would be alot less wrongful transfers.
