It's an average phone...there's nothing special about it really...I like the phone myself, but I have some customer's that have had a few small issues with the phone, the thing that just about all my customer's have is that there is a "buzzing" sound in the earpiece, not a BIG problem, but a little annoying. I don't have the phone myself, but that's what I have heard.

ok cool thanks for your information. i use to have the x427 and i loved it, i use a v600 right now, but honestly i dont need all the extra junk in a phone, just a good camera and mp3 ring tones lol

The e317 doesn't support .mp3 tones neither, it DOES however support music tones, but they are .mmf files...Same music, but they are no where near the quality and volume of an .mp3 tone...The e317 is literally the x427 with an color external display, and a camera. Everything else is identical.
