i suggest forking out the $200, break your contract and switch carriers!

why constantly complain, when if you just stop being a F-ing penny pincher a break your contract if your so unhappy.

would you continue paying for a car if it did not work? wouldnt rather save some money and buy a new one?

every carrier is going to have thier problems.

you think your going to escape wireless problems by jumping ship to a new carrier?

i'm gonna go with nooooo

its one thing to post questions or concerns, but concerns dont need to consist of a b***h-fest you know?

we know about problems, but i mean if something major happens, sure let us know, but dont come on complaining about minor stuff that happens to everyone once in awhile.

Actually the early termination fee would not be $200 unless you cancelled your contract at the right time.

Of course, you'd know this if you've read your bill and T&C's. 🤣

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

The early termination fee, or ETF, is what you have to pay to break your contract. I believe it varies in amount depending on contract length. Also, depending on your state it could be prorated or not.

it's up to $250 dollars if you cancel in the first year of your contract, and it's up to $150 dollars if you cancel in the second year of your contract (assuming it's a 2 year contract)

but then again you do know what they say about an assumption....

well, that appears on the cingular system (care) you have to pay $240.00 if you cancel afetr use just one month (after the 30 days of buyers remorse) and if if you have 2 yr contract and you use your plan another month more, you'll reduce $10 each month you have th services.... if you have 1yr contract you got reduce 20 bucks for each month used/have it..... i like the attws policy, you have to pay $175 even if you have 24, 23, 12, 10 months or 1, 5, 7 days before contract end date..... you pay it
why?? cos you signed a contract and it is a compromise you made.. on my country, the wireless companies are worst, are worst than sale your soul at devil...why?..

Actually it varies from market to market, I know in the Philadlephia market it is still a straight $150. But I also know that the Empire market is $240 prorated. And they are both CARE markets. 😕

the only problem that i have with cingular are their lousy plans, and every time i have talked to a cs rep. i know that there are some really good reps. but there are also some that should not be on that job. other than that i would switch to cingular if their plans were better and the new ones starting on june,1 are not any better, why can't they just loose the 5000 n&w minutes on the $39.99 plan and just make them unlimited like everybody else

Ok....

Have you given any thought to what you just wrote? 5000 minuts for MTM instead for unlimited....do you know how many HOURS 5000 minutes are? its 83.34 hours..If you spend more than 83 hours on the phone a month you deserve to get charged for it
