What?!?!? Everyone else can add a line for 9.99 but not our own stores?

We just went through our training for the new rate plans. It was stated in our job aid that afiliates aka wirefly and amazon can still offer the additional line for 9.99 whereas we have to offer it at 14.99.

WTF!?!? Are they trying to make my job harder?

On a side note...our entire training was basically devoted to comparing us to Verizon.

I'm hoping they just said things really confusingly in your training. We're still able to offer $9.99 if it's to an existing familytalk plan that has $9.99, as long as they don't go up or down in minutes. It's business as usual as far as that goes. If they choose to get more minutes, they'll have to go onto the new rate plans at $14.99.

If wirefly and amazon.com can offer $9.99 on the new rates... well I'll just whine a lot because it's all I can do, but it's certainly not right.

Excuse me you can only add the $9.99 extra to the older plans after jun 1,2005 if the older plan you are adding it to was $59.99 or higher, if you have a older plan say $39.99 with extra lines $9.99, you...

Well I do understand all the stuff about the legacy customers, but those other companys shouldn't be able to offer 9.99 extra lines on new lines of service. That just isn't fair for stores and telesales...we can't compete with that and it just makes customers angry.

The Legacy Family Talk plans will still be able to get the additional line for $9.99.. only as long as they stay on that base plan.. IF they want more minutes, they HAVE to accept the $14.99 FamilyTalk additional line cost.

Yes, but the only legacy plans you can add on lines for $9.99 are the legacy $59.99 plans and higher.
