Mystery Shops
So, its nearing the end of the month, and every other store in my district has been shopped but the one I'm currently sitting at...what are the odds they'll come today?
and does anyone else think that some of the mystery shop stuff is complete BS...i mean seriously, not every person is willing to be sold right away, and if you went through everything on that list, you'd sound like the most annoying salesperson ever..at least IMO...

and they pay these people to come in and waste our time and not purchase anything instead of focussing on making sales. spend the money on secret shoppers more wisely please

yeah...no kidding...and they always get the worst shoppers too...for the past 4-5 shops we've had, everyone has scored 96-100, except this time around the shoppers gave everyone scores of 74-80...so either everyone has really sucked all of a sudden or the shoppers were horrible...
second, they always get the most obvious people to do it...like some 95 year old man who's practically on his death bed...who gets pissed when you offer the $29.99-39.99 plan because he will use it much more than that... 🙄

I've had a mystery shopper tell me up front they didn't have any money with them, and I got counted off for not asking for the sale. I was listening the first time when he said he was broke, so of course I didn't ask him to buy something.

I own a VZW store and we have it bad too, the shoppers are complete waste of time, I had one lady come in and say up front that her husband and daughter already had VZW on a share plan and she just wanted to share their minutes, I than proceded to show her phones and accessories, I asked for the sale 3 times, when the report came back I lost 15 points for not qualifying her for a rate plan and not showing her any plans! The first words out of her mouth when she came in was she just wanted to share her husbands faimly plan and add on for the $9.99 a month!

While we're on the subject, my company was bumped to number 2 on the secret shop scores last night on a national level among agents. We're at 90.0%, and first is at 90.5%
It hurts.
