Per The Phonescoop.com Glossary:
Quad-Band

Designates a GSM phone that supports all four major GSM frequency bands, making it compatible with all major GSM networks worldwide.

The four bands include the 800 (AKA 850) and 1900 bands - used in the Americas - and 900/1800, used in most other parts of the world.



This leads me to believe that you are not very knowledgeable in the wireless world. Keep in mind that there are people on here WHO DO NOT WORK FOR THE INDUSTRY (such as myself) who knew the proper answer. You obviously did not. I suggest you do some research. Don't play in the arena if you don't know the rules.
