Downloading games and data
I think this can summarize what information has been posted over the last few days.
When attempting to download a game on your handset you will be taken to a screen with the software version of the game, the size in KB and the option to proceed to download. At this point you can cancel the download if you are not willing to pay the price based on your rate plan.
When purchasing online you will be sent a text message with the same information and the option to download.
As is stated on Cingular.com, you will be charged for the game once downloaded, regardless of whether or not you delete the game or choose not to save it.
Either way, this information IS disclosed to the customer, if you actually have a Cingular phone.

Amen! 😁 And my I recommend Jamdat Bowling, excellent game!! Im so hooked on that game haha! Although its alot harder on my S710a than it was on my T637 because its not all slow and somewhat choppy, but nonetheless, still fun! And MapQuest mobile is also an awesome application... okay im done haha sorry! 😎

His last link shows exactly what I said, in writing. The text message you receive has the size of the file so you can see it, in writing, and check with your plan costs, which would be in writing on your Customer Service Summary given to you at purchase of your plan.
