My mobile phone is Sharp GX-32, which works under both GSM 850/1900 mHz. Since most of the mobile phones do not work under GSM850 mHz, I would like to know if Cingular Network works fine under GSM1900 mHz in the case that I buy a new phone that works for GSM 900/1800/1900 mHz.
As you mentioned that Cingular uses the 850 mhz band in a lot of places now, do you know what band Cingular is using in New York City?
Besides, how would I use MMS service with my mobile phone if I switch to Cingular network. Can I manually set the configuration myself n order to use MMS?
Thanks again for all of your advises.
as far as mms do you have tmo's mms settings on you phone now ? we have media mall att has mmode . I dont know what tmo has but you would at least need to have an unbranded unlocked phone to get it to completely work
(or get a cingular phone ) hope this helps !
