Isn't it funny...

...how former Blue customers used to always complain about how poor AT&T's customer service was, yet every time they complain now about Cingular the first thing they say is, "I never had this problem with AT&T, their service was much better."
I had a customer say that to me earlier, and I wanted to laugh because I actually remembered handling a call from her last year when I was an AT&T rep (before the merger). Her complaint then was that AT&T's service sucked, now all of a sudden it was great and Cingular's service sucks... 🙄

This doesn't say AT&T service was great, just that it is much better then Cingular. So either it is really funny or really bad for Cingular
I have/had been with AT&T for awhile and have not had a problem nor a real need to call into customer service.

the deal with this is cusomters had tdma phones with att and now have gsm , so they are used to having coverage everywhere but the calls sounded horrible .
...
I still have a TDMA phone - v60i to be exact. I have been wanting to switch but my plan is too good compared to the prices they have now. I have been wanting to switch but the extra cost, possible reduced coverage and not being able to tether to my laptop is keeping me staying on TDMA. I know there is some controversy on the tethering capability, so I use T-Mobile for my Pocket PC data right now. When Cingular offers a decent EDGE Capable Windows device, I would switch. We'll see what comes out.
So yes, I am one of to users that should die according to the CSR who stated "DIE TDMA USERS."

what is your plan and have ou thought about a mpx220 or treo ??
...
Well it doesnt really seem to matter what the name of the carrier is all the customers seem to want to do is wine and bitch about everything under the sun and blame it on the cell phone... winey bastards 👿
...
I ahve looked at the MPX220 and was very interested. But once they started having issues with it, I stayed away to let the dust settle.
Another one that had promise was the MPx but that never happened.
As for the treo - that is the closest one and almost has me. I like it a lot but a few quirks like not being able to create appts and invite people like you can with the Pocket PCs. I am sure the Exchange synching will get better in time or MS will always keep one or two features exclusive to their product. This is with Exchange and ActivSync.
Thanks for the reply,
