Customer related rant...
Okay..so i'm sitting here in my store today, and this lady came in for a car charger..after she flipped out that it was $26.99, I told her i'd do her a favor and take $10 off (whoopty freaking do!)...then after i cash her out, she has the audacity to say "ummm..you're not doing this for your career, are you?" and i just stared vapidly at her.. i mean... i know i'm just using this as a part time thing to work my way through college, but there are people who choose this profession as their career, and as such, i felt deeply offended...do we really have that bad of a reputation? or was this person just a self-righteous moron?

Im going to say a self righteous moron. People have the idea that anyone in customer service or sales is beneath them and we should kiss the ground they walk on, that is until they need us and then they praise us, as long as we can fix it, if not we are the lowest possible thing they can think of. Just look at it this way, your making an honest living, and I am going to assume u somewhat like being in customer service. Even if you dont your doing it to better yourself. For those of us who do choose it as a career, we are doing something we are good at, enjoy doing etc and any person who thinks they are avove us needs a reality check.

i am bored out of my mind! i'm stuck in the store for another hour or so, then i'm going to a buddy's open house because he's on leave from iraq... hopefully the memory of working today will be erased 😈

I think you're way off. I personally think its wrong to judge people as a group. Not all males are the same as all females are not the same, but maybe thats just something im able to see, I dunno. To each his own.

Lol do you honestly believe that I put all males in the same category? If you do you really don't know me like I thought you did. My personality alone should tell you that. Yeah I do have some issues with men but you have never shown those tendencies and I know you know what they are.
