How high would Cingular's churn be if the botched sales were included?
Oh great - now the bippy **** supe tells me she knows nothing and can promise nothing.
I'm sure glad this is a prepaid order - no way on this planet would I trust these clowns with a cellular billing system.
I wouldn't bother with this at all were it not that I need a ...

Oh and side note, yaa know the cheapest way for you to do what you want would to add a line of service to your wifes account...but that would be the intelegent thing to do. 🙄
Get off your high horse. If you are not man enough to accept the fact that your company does and continues to do shoddy busniness despite the facts - I feel sorry for you and anything you consider intelligent.
Why not just take it a step further - people who use phones are so dumb. They should just write letters I guess?
Oh wait - all you people who use electricty are slackesr! Oh I have to have a machine do everything.

Yes - they are unable to do their job - but our company continues to operate the website regardless because the few orders that are taken correctly we can profit from.
I am amazed that people still think buying online saves them time and money. In this case, you saved neither.
Good luck.
Customer 30 day returns ARE counted in churn
not all are counted as churn. only if it was used... FYI
With legitimate companies that have respectable business practices it is!
I've ordered from numerous big name companies and NEVER had a problem until I ordrered from Cingular.
WHAT IS SO AMAZING ABOUT A COMPANY DOING THE JOB THEY ADVERTISE CORRECTLY? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE EXPLAIN THAT TO ME!
NO - I WON'T DRINK YOUR KOOL-AID
You 'll have to ask someone else.
By the way, for someone who doesn't like Kool-aid, you sure do drink up what PBS serves.
BUT... Telling him that going online or telesales because he's too lazy, or too cheap and wants to save money is a SAD, VERY SAD excuse for this being the fault of Cingular, and for Cingular offering terrible service.
Maybe he's not lazy, but perhaps he has trouble getting around, ever thing of that people??? But hell, maybe he doesnt have trouble getting around, but saying he cant get off his butt is unacceptable and a horrible defense for the half assed service Cingular is giving this man.
Wants to save money??? Some people HAVE to! Jeezus, are you people THAT closed minded???? Not everybody makes AS much money as you! Some people CANT a...

We understand our company offers poor service and are care not because our customers - who keep us employed - try to shop around for a deal if possible - which our poorly managed company advertises - yet does not allow us to have because they are so poorly managed.
Translation2:
My quota holds greater priority then your customer service.
i am sorry you may have had a bad experience in the past with a store. most people have much LESS problems in store than on the internet of calling customer service. i have countless people come to my store simply for the fact that we get things done, unlike customer service sometimes.
every area is different in management styles. we do have a secrret shopper program in effect that recently got stricter to improve customer relations.
and your translations remind me of my wife - understood like YOU want to understand it, not for what it really means. all i meant by my comment was that i wished the prices online were the same as in-store. it would make everyone's job easier and make the customer experience better since people w...

Mobility, not enough money, etc. aside, buying online is a crapshoot, period. I did my experiment and ran into the same thing.
I agree, ripping him is not always appropriate, but finding a good store and letting them help is most often the best solution.
If your exeriment confirmed Cingular has poor customer service and sales - then congratulations - you confirmed what millions of individuals allready knew!
Translation:
Saving money is dumb. Buy in a store - new technologies that other companies employ daily that work smoothly - yet my company can not - are not worth the risk and potential for errors. Errors that will occur - not from the technology - but from our inability to conduct business.
You don't always save money.
Number two,
Wireless isn't usually as simple as picking out a book from Amazon.com
Number three,
Someone in store can help you by answering all your questions w/o you having to search
As intelligent as you think you are, it is funny you can't comprehend the difference between an agent and Cingular owned distribution channels.
I don't like the fact they seem to not get it right as it hurts Cingular's name overall, but I get enough business in store fixing the issues when they send in their referrals.
