I am looking at buying a 6230i.
Will the phone work on the Cingular network?
Can I use my existing SIM or do I need to get a new 64K sim card?

Does the phone need to be unlocked? and if so how do I get that done?

thanks Kevin

Comparing the s710 to the Nokia 6230i...I am asking...

Is the camera better?
Is the speaker better?
Is the radio better? (that is NO)
Is the memmory better?

The 6230 will work swimmingly on Cingular's network. It has unbelievably great audio, everybody loves the features. It's all they use in the network engineering group here. Who knows better?

Check Amazon's deal for it with service plan. You won't believe it.

Is there any advantage to getting a new sim if I get the 6230i? If so what are they?

If the phone would need Nokia repair/warranty work, would my local Nokia service the phone or would I have to send it to UK?

thanks Kevin
