Has anyone else been having massive issues with dropped calls. I have a 6230 and a v551 on 2 different numbers both with the 64k sim. The v551 I know has the newer firmware and the 6230 is pre ENS. Any thoughts?

chances this is happening is becasue the 64 k sim cards are for the combined att gsm and cingular gsm network. right now these networks are not combined, but they are doing this market by market right now to combine the networks, so if your in an area where there are more att gsm towers than cingular youll have to drop a call before you pick up on a att tower but this wil lcahnge right away

I am a blue sales rep. The dropped calls are not just at my house i can have full signal and drop my call standing in the same place almost anywhere. I do use a headset and this seems to help some, but before my COU line was was migrated it was great. My wifes libe which was ported over from T-Mo, and she never had any problems with them and shes thinkin of switching back. There is beter coverage allover the the state where i live now that cingular has taken the reins and has put up tower after tower around my area. It just seems that the quality of the signal is not as good as it used to be. I have had both of the sim cards replaced and have updated them using our card reader.
