lock ringer in loud mode
I have a v710 and carry it in my pocket. problem is the soft keys on the side get bumped and switched into the silent mode. Thus, I don't get the incoming calls. Is there any way to lock just the ring changer soft button. I'm too lazy to find the owners book to look it up.Any help would be appreciated. Bob

No. There is not a way to lock the side keys.
Also, the V710 is a CDMA phone, so shouldn't that been in the Motorola or Verizon/AllTel/US Cellular/MetroPCS forum?

I just got off the phone (land line) with Motorola and the rep walked me through the process to lock the ringer in place.

Settings
Security
Lock Application
Unlock Code (should be last 4 of phone number unless changed)
Ring Styles.
Whee I thought it wasn't going to happen.
