v551 battery issues
i just got a new v551 and am having the same problem that many customers of mine have been having with this phone. I will make 2-3 calls during the day and when i wake up the next morning, my phone is dead and the battery drained. I have had many customers call me with this same problem and i am really at a loss for words for them except return/exchange. i have looked at the known issues but none are listed in our files. has anyone else seen or heard of this problem? anyone know why this is happening or a solution? i have charged my phone correctly, i know this for a fact. i need help people.

Do you have the bluetooth turned on? (are you using a bluetooth headset?) Bluetooth kills on battery life, especially the V551.

If you have access to CSP, under the Technical tab, type in V551. There is a product advisory for the battery issue.

That problem was solved by the newer software version which StapleHead said he had, as long as customers have the corrected software that shouldn't be an issue

that i haven't heard of. my V551 usually only last a couple days with usage before i have to charge it. i believe(correct me if i'm wrong)the v551 only has about 3-5 hours of talk time on a full charge and bluetooth lowers that.
