WOW this is so funny, My problem with the unjust contract was fixed three days ago, with out ever going back to the store, I just wanted for everone here to see how WRONG most of you are one here and you NEVR admit that you make a mistake. Look at all off you post about you cant have service with out a contract and how everyone of you were saying he must be not telling us everything, I just proved that Cingulars customer service is the worst. Not one time in the last several post did I say that it was not fixed, but oh how you went on and on and on, about it. About how I was wrong and just deal with it. Like I said the joke is on you. 🤣

So let me get this striaght;
You first sign up for a service under the pretence that it had no contract. Ok misinformation, and a dealer that is need of a kick in the @$$.
You then find out you have a contract, and go online to b!tch about it, Not what i'd do, but ok d=fair enough.
After being told what to do to fix it, call care/go to the store. You wait three days and then do it. Alright fair enough.
You then pick a fight with something 5-10 CSR's on said forum about a dead issue? "What is your malfunction?" Honestly now you really are the poster boy assinine. How the h3ll are we sappose to know that you resloved the issue if you don't tell us. You expect us to be pyscic or something? Maybe your just to lonely and have nothin...

stephen 5688. I want to personally thank you for proving how stupid some reps can actually be. I didn't read all of the postings the reps were too inconsiderate for my time but out of the ones I did read you sound smarter than the people who get paid to do this. You make points and prove them instead of making lame a$$ comments that you can''t elaborate on, like some people. Not all reps are that disrespectful and ignorant though some actually care. 🙂

Just because I want to tell you that I think you are very immature and a few other words I can't say doesn't mean I'm a bad CSR I am a VERY good CSR as a matter of fact. Like I said before when I come in here I'm not a CSR I'm just another person with maybe a bit more knowledge than other people and maybe I'll be able to help someone with a REAL problem that is not so uncooperative.

That's true. At work, I have to be nice and considerate to the customers. Once I'm off the clock, or where they can't see me, that's when the real me comes out. I appreciate all the employees that frequent these forums. As long as you don't give out false information, you can be as rude as you want.

Wow. I guess you work at the place I called once. I was having horrible reception with my service and called, mainly because I was bored. Well, there was a menu option to report a problem, something like that, and someone actually answered! She was really helpful, for being late at night and all. I don't think she did anything to fix it, but at least I wasn't mad anymore.

I made an agreement with Cingular to pay for a sim and to not sign a contract, and thats what took place. How is it that because I did not want to drive an hour back to the store to fix something that was not my responsibility in the first place to fix, that I am not cooperative?

the reason you were told to go back to the store was because they are the ones that made the mistake. when you talk to a rep over the phone you are not talking to "cingular" you are talking to a individual who work for the company, if someone st a store offers you something and you find out they didnt give what was offered, calling cust care wont prove or do you much good,
yes it is true if you escalate and escalate and escalate than yes alot of times you do get what u want,

but let me see.. you spend a total of 5 hours on the phone for an issue we will say... about 50 bucks, is it really worth it, i mean yes if it is going to cost more money to argue a point that the cost of the actual issue than of course t makes more sense to crdt i...

Look I have been on this site for a while now and I have read post after post for you Cingular reps, about how stupid and dumb the customer is and some off you even say I would like to kill them, and I dont think you mean really kill them, but weather your on here on you on time or not, when you let it be known tht you do work for Cingular that is not a good thing for customer, smart or dunb to read on here from you. 🙄

Or you could have (and most likely did methinks) call care from the comfort of your home.

So what was the resolution anyway? Did they remove the benefets of the contract, (m2m unlimited nights and weekends?) or did you argee to a one year contract? perhaps you yelled and swore at the rep and told them that you weren't going to except the contract regardless of what they said?

No no nothing like that at all. I was transfered to the cancellation department and told them just what happened, you know what I have said on here and she took care of it and did not say anything about loosing the N&W or MtoM and when I check my account it show no contract and show N&M and MM

No I am not, why? I applied a while back for a 2nd or 3rd job (it was a few years ago, forgot the circumstances) and never got a call or anything. I may not have even finished the app. I was having problems with that, I think, and the one at wellsfargo.com. OH well. When I graduate, I may apply there. I think it's a pretty decent company.

Thanks. IN what areas? I do like to do my research before I buy almost anything, especially cell phones. I honestly don't understand why people go with other companies. I also love law and took a Business law class, that mostly covered contract law.

Ha, wait till there's a mistake on my account. It's happened before, and I have gotten a bit agitated. Usually after the 3rd call in and still nothing being done and when the rep is too busy posting on phonescoop and not really listening to what I told them, so they're either confused about the situation or ask me to repeat it.

J/K about posting on phonescoop. I normally don't have to call into CS, maybe for a quick question that I thought up. Does that really annoy you guys, or does it matter? For instance, I called the other day to ask about my voicemail number. I always thought that it was calling my cell phone number and therefore using my M2M mins. I am a pretty wealthy person, I have no reason to lie or to worry about a few dollars here or there, but I did not get to have what I have by letting companies or anyone screw me over and I was not going to start now. I can more than afford the ETF I paid it time three when I left Nextel. But I will not pay on when it is not agreed to.

So what if he knew about the agreement? It's Social Darwinism at it's best, if he did. He goes in there, gets the rep to activate his phone without a contract, and gets away with it. That's what an education will get you. I urge everyone to take a college level law class and economics class. It's stuff that'll make you a lot wiser out in the real world.

Number one, you can post anything you like since we have no idea who you are or if you indeed received what you said.

Number two, most of the people here were quoting policy, nothing more. If someone did actually change your agreement to a month to month then good for you, but it still isn't policy.

People like you rip folks in here when we all have different answers. The general consensus on this one was the same answer, yet you still think it is some kind of joke to rub our nose in.
