We aren't a super huge carrier, our coverage spread isn't the largest, our data isn't the fastest, and it still amazes me how often this point is brought up...It's redundant, it's getting to the point it's stooooopid. For a lot of people though, what we have is good enough. It's affordable, reliable, and it works for them. They are treated with the best customer service, officially for 2 years now, and we have some of the best programs too.
1 year contracts: let's say with even our old plan before we were offering 1000 minutes for $39.99...600 minutes...to get 600 minutes with cingular you paid $49.99...over 12 months, thats $120 difference...if you put away that $120.00 you'd be saving with us, at $10/mo...in 12 months (11 actually) you...

LET ME ADD TO THIS, T MOBILE IS FAR MORE USER FRIENDLY AS WELL MEANING...
-we dont charge for mobile # changes
-you can call up and get unbilled calls
-our credit policy and retention policy is unbelievable.
-out of warranty fee only $70
- we give BONUS MINUTES and LOYALTY MINUTES
- upgrade program is the best in the business (dont charge a ****ing upgrade FEE)
- 1 yr contracts
- free bill resends
- we resend ringtones and downloads if you exchange your phone. (i was denied when i had to do an exchange)
i use cingular unfortunatly and they offer nothing comparable to any of this
i tried to change my # once and it was $25 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
come on tmobile reps, what else do we offer that nobody else compares ...

Actually what impressed me the most about T-Mobile was their 199.99/month price piont, It including unlimited everything! There is just no way that that can be beat. Also as forchune would have i had to contact T-mobile care on behave of a customer (the dealer accidentally migrated the cust to T-mobile instead of cingular) and the rep that i spoke to over there was a hell of a lot better then any then i have encountered over here, so i can believe that their care is better then ours.
Cingular has more money and better covarage, plus they don't lose too much revenue for issueing credits, thus i'm afraid that they will probally win out in the end. But i f I could i would choose T-Mobile in a heart beat. (I'm a Canadain, and if you thin...

Yeah well, maybe when T-Mobile gets EDGE they might be decent...cingular is fixing to roll out UMTS, and t-mobile doesn't even have edge yet.

....Someone in my call center had a call like that where the customer was migrated to T-Mo instead of Cingular.....
