READ 👿 YOUR 👿 BILLS!

it's NOT that hard. WHY call in and say... "why is my invoice so high" and go silent and wait for me to explain. pick up your invoice and look at it- then if you want to dispute it, you'll have an idea of what you're talking about. for god sakes, your full grown adults and you cant read your bill- or are you just too lazy? we're here to help with problems, not things your just too stupid and lazy to do yourself!

That information is not kept onhand with the account info?

Yet - the last 4 of SSN - which should not even be used for the purpose that it is - is kept onhand isn't it?

Hilarious!

Yes, but the information isn't alwasy correct because some customers dont update us when we get new phones. It's always better to clarify.

incase you didnt notice the last 4 of the SSN is a VID process that i used within all companies, its for your protection, yes we do have the make and model of your phone on our acct window, however alot of reps will comfirm to make sure that is the same phone ur holding in ur hands.

if you want someone esle to be able to access your acct without having to verify information than you not very bright its the last 4 of your social its not like its anything big

A customer is not required to give their SSN to establish service, be approved w/o a deposit or verify their account.

Customers may verify specific information from their credit report to establish credit worthiness. Customers may also use a PIN number instead of the last 4 when verifying ownership of said account.

Most customers CHOOSE to use their SSN since it is far easier to verify credit worthiness and last 4 to verify ownership.

You want to write a diatribe about how your SSN number has been hijacked for credit purposes, fine. Don't be a little worm and blame Cingular (as you do for ever other issue) for their usage of a system long ago hijacked.

I work at a grocery store and someone went by and asked if he could pay his phone bill there. I asked who he had and he held it up and proudly said Nokia. I said, no, it's Cingular, and yes, we just need your account number. So, he got in line, waited, and didn't even know there was an account number.

I get a guy today on the charter plan, unlim any min,and he wants me to go over his bill and add up his calls that are made before 9, the "peak rate calls" as he called them. So,I ask,"do you have a copy of your invoice sir?"and,of course,he does,he's just too damn lazy to sit with a caculator and add it up,so he calls me and gets me to do it. I hate lazy people.

It's just that all caps is for yelling, which is fine in some contexts, but not so fine for others--besides, the irony of it was irresistable! 🤣

Once again training sucked the big one. Training for a new system tool sucks the big one. Did the computer training again and passed with flying colors. Geeze, even a 10yr. old can do this training, what do they think we are, there employees.

Maybe that's how he's productive. Maybe he thought you have a button on your computer that'll show you how many minutes his "peak calls" contained, while it would've taken him 4 hours to add everything up with a calculator. He probably thought, "Hmm, it'll take me 4 hours, or I can call CS, which I'm paying for, and it could take them 10 minutes. With that extra 3 hours and 50 minutes, I can do all this other work for my company."
