Hey on my account I have the "500 Kilobyte Media Package". And I've called in many times before and they say that their "computer" won't let them delete the thing (in other words take it off my account). The whole reason I want this deleted is that I want to add the "Media Basic." ID any of you reps could PLEASE try and take it off, I would be greatly appreciative! Honestly, I know ya'll have a hard job, and I TRULY respect that...If you need my cell phone number or any other information jsut respeonbd back...etc.

Call the CINGULAR care, and usually if you raise hell enough, you can get more help on the line if the rep cant delete that plan for you. If that doesnt work try the internet, and get into your profile or account, and remove the feature yourself. CINGULAR apparently prides themselves on informing the customer on how to self manage there accounts, so that is sometimes why you get the runaround.

no problem. Remember if you raise enough hassle you may get a supervisor if worse comes to worse.

any rep should be able to delete it, if theres a billing system issue we just file a ticket on it with IT, did they say why they couldnt delete it?

lol, yeah, normally if theres a billing system issue we call our IT line, they usually have it resolved within 72 hours 😕

Remember, putting notes on the account doesnt really mean much, and dont wait for them to call you, call them in a 1-2 days to see if it was resolved. If we told all our customer that we would call them back, I think many people would be cancelling. SOONER IS BETTER THAN LATER.

ok, little beef...that supervisor that you would speak to would be me, in this exact situation (not saying everyone) it is not any good to ask for a supervisor, you literally hit the delete key...if a rep cant do it, then their next step up cant either...hassling em about it only flusters the csr and then they become less effective...if they cant fix it, ask if they can submit a case (which is what it sounds like they already did if someone is calling you back) and they will get it out of the system manually...aplogize for the inconvence 🙂
