Life as a CSR

I would like to give a big shout out to all of the customers who have made my day a complete hell. I came in thinking this would be a great day, and right out of the gate I get a person screaming at me that her service has been horrible since Cingular took over AT&T Wireless. I have had nothing but whiners and complainers today. I know Cingular is not perfect, but comeon people, you need to take just a little responsibility for your service.

Weren't you also the one who said that Cingular should raise the ETF?

So - wouldn't that mean taking responsibility for that service would be incredibly costly if they were past their buyer's remorse period if you had your way?

It sometimes feels like most customers smoke it. Atleast from some of the responses I get from them.

I really hate to admiot it here but captainplooky has a piont, (a small part of me just died) Raising the ETF will not serve any propase except for making more p!ssed of customers. Also you have to understand the average customer has little to nill understanding of how the systems work, all they know is that the phone they are paying for isn't working. You just happen to be the closest target to cingular for them to vent their furstrations on.

yea your not kidding, i cant get my txt to work and i called cust care and they told me that they can not touch my account because i am in sales. and that my manager would have to fix it. but of course managers can not touch their sales reps numbers.
