After a bit of conversing on a seperate thread,I have decided to start this one in order to seek discounts on phones, plans, and the like for call center employees in Canada.I have heard many different things that U.S Reps receive as far as discounts and fringe benifits, and it makes me want to jump up and down screaming "its not fair",but, instead I have started this thread to see if there is something that I'm unaware of here in Canada with ANY service provider similar to what the U.S reps get. Anybody know if theres any deals for us Canadian Reps?

I hate it when that happens. It takes forever for the repairman to come with his dogsled. 🙂

At our call center we are offered to attatch to a "SPONSORSHIP" account and have service with ROGERS who was affiliated with AT&T. I have Rogers service but chose not to go on this discounted plan as my usage differs from what the plan offers. Talk to your boss or HR dept, maybe that have something like that in your call center.

I had heard a while ago when I was talking to Rogers that I could get a discount just by stating that I worked here, but I didn't see any difference on the invoice after they "attached that discount"... so I don't think that Rogers offers any kind of discount. on a different note, how does rogers work in Nova Scotia, I had heard it isn't very good, but I had just heard rumors, here in Regina it is pretty good... for the most part

Well,lets see.

I am in N.S and have had service with Rogers since Oct ob last year and the service is mostly pretty good.Once in a while I get interference in some areas, but for the most part its pretty good.

Thing I have a problem with is the following...Here at our center there is a "discount" which is false, its just oone of the featured plans that any customer can get...that,and I have had a 200.00 deposit on my service since Oct,paid on time all the time,,yet in order to add another line of service,I gotta drop another 200 clams to do so.I don't agree with this,as they state that the deposit would have to be on for a year before I wouldn't need it to add a line, but the store(yeah..I know) said that it would only be 6 months.....Me,...
