Thinking about cancelling service, any suggestions
Ok, so I like Cingular as far as price plans and phone selection overall, but the service in my area is far frome desireable. I live near Canada and my phone keeps losing a signal and going to Canadas signal. They take the Roaming off every month but the service is horrible as far as reception.
My phone is the e317 and its horrible, people break in and out, the volume is too low.
Any suggestions of a company to go to that has nice phones? I had TMobile and loved it, but cingular gave me a 18% discount every month because of my employer.

this really breaks down to is the crappy service you are recieing worth the 18%? The way I look at is, that if the service aint there then the discount doesn't matter. Go get what your paying for.

yeah, then the other thing is this, what company do i go to? I like Verizon but i dont like their phones. I had T-Mobile before this and loved it but it has a small coverage area. Sprint my bro said hed add me to his plan but they make u do 2 years, and im too picky to get a 2 year, id be ready for a new phone after 1 year. Any suggestions as far as companies or phones? I dont expect you to give me a specific but maybe point me in the direction based on what you have used?

Do you travel out side of T-mobile's area?
Becuase if you don't need the larger area, and loved the service....
I'm also Canadain, and well my only experience with other careers is sask-tel and Rogers.

Not often if at all. I only went to cingular because i get 8.10 off my bill every month for having them because of where I work.

Move to Canada, and sign up with Rogers. You will get great reception. Their reception is so good it is picked up even across the border. 🙂 We are always welcoming of new immigrants to Canada.

HAHAHA good idea since I am on their network all the time anyways lol. Although Cingular never makes me pay to use it they always remove the charges.
