so yah i jsut had to call verizon porting group for a customer... you have to take your bill into a retail store in order to port your number out...

and wow the run around our customer think they getthe run around... i got tranfered 3 times all 3 time got to a busy signal

That is in direct violation of the FCC order. All that is needed to port out a number is the customer information on their bill to verify account ownership.
