"Let me speak with the President"
I was on the phone with a customer that had issues with the merger, and I as explaining the entire process to her. She was really upset about it although she didn't have to switch yet since her phones were working fine. And she kept yelling and yelling, and telling me about how she has contacted the FCC and all the regional managers. Finally after she badgers me if I'm happy working for such a horriable company, and if I can sleep at night (very well thank you), she asks me to speak with the president. I tell her that I'm not really sure what she means and she wants to know who the president is and how to contact him. I direct her to cingular.com where you can get all the information to e-mail the president, and get her off the phone. Do you...

She probably thinks we're at Cingular Worldwide Headquarters, and that we're one big store with phones all over the place, and that the President is out back grilling hamburgers in his t-shirt and boxers. 🙄
