Employess need to quit B*TCHING!!!!!

How about you guys stop bitching all the time about stupid issues. Maybe if it were a relevant topic, such as network outages, updates, pricing, protocol changes etc....it would be worth discussing. I've worked in direct retail for years, and I'm getting sick of all the incessant whining. GET OFF YOUR ASSES AND DO YOUR JOB!!! Esp. the CSR's....you talk on a phone, I actually speak face-to-face with people and have to deal with the threats, cursing, thrown phones and what not. YOU DON'T HAVE IT BAD AT ALL, and remember, CINGULAR IS AN AT-WILL EMPLOYER, if you don't like it, Wendy's is always hiring. 😁

he does have a point though.. i work in the ghetto and i have thugs threaten me all day long.. and i dont think our security guard with a flash light can do much.. 😡

WINE WINE WINE, stores have it easy. I have worked in retail for 11 1/2 yrs, and been working in this call center for a 1yr + 8months, and this job takes the cake. At least store reps can take there time with customers and take breaks if need be or when allowed, but to sit at a desk all day and hear the ranting and raving and bit**ing from customers who are negligent with there service, it still is the worst.

we all have tough jobs. the ways in which they are tough just varies between reps. nobody likes to get screamed at period. whether its to their face or over the phone. this job is challenging, straight out. theres so much thats always changing its hard to make everyone happy. Including cingulars own reps. i think this forum is great and "if you don't like it... u can always scoop your eyes out with a melon baller"

you get to be in a store and call us for every little problem you should be able to handel on your own.. and when you cant do that you tell the customer to go home and call us cause you cant do your job.. and then we have to deal with the bitching of having to send them back to the store casue some rep didn't want to deal with the migration.....

and then there's the ranters....


because you know damn well that the people who freak at us on the phone do it because they dont have enought balls to do it in person...

so before you go on your little escapade.. think before you do... if you don't like reading the posts then dont... phone scoop is an at will forum... no one is forcing you to be here 😈

And let's not lose sight of the fact that a care rep has to talk to 75-100 people per day, every day, and can't even walk around for a minute after a jerk gets done with them. When was the last time a store rep had to deal with that many people in a day, each and every one of whom has an issue that needs to be dealt with, nobody "just looking" or wondering if that phone comes in green... All issues, all day, and no commission when we sell someone a new phone.

So yeah, eat a whole BAG O'D!CKS(tm) and STFU! 🙄

Well, that's just Jack. Ah yes, the "if you don't like it quit" speech. Why, I've never heard that one trotted out before! Unlike MANY jobs in the US, this is one of the few where coworkers can express their views. And I really can't think of anything that is MORE related to Cingular than how the people who work there Jacking feel. Can you? Oddly enough, we actually know a lot more than any outsider does about the inner workings of the company we work for. What a concept! Some folks say that Cingular is the #1 wireless company in the US. I kinda like the idea for working for a #1 company. A few years ago I worked for the #1 company in credit card terminals. That was OK, until we "merged" and they out-sourced ALL of the call centers.
