Just to let any other employees know that this edge rewards program is a joke. Some TLs are so strict on making sure to offer the new cingular migration from attws to cingular, that it sickens me. To say the same repetitive thing over and over again while offering,is mind numbing.But even when we spend all that time explaining everything and doing the migration, we get very little points for it. Why not increase the point value to like 500 when we migrate someone. When I started working in this call center, we were told this is not a sales job, LIKE HELL IT ISNT. They should go back to that. If I get the cust to migrate online or to go to a store to migrate then I should get the Edge points for it! It shouldn't be only if I personal migrate them with my systems! Its a total rip off.

I got enough points in 2 months with that program to get $700 US in Home Depot Gift Cards.
That program motivated me to get people to migrate. Now.... I just don't give a sh!t 👿
Since they got rid of that program I've only migrated maybe 15 people. In what? 4 months?
With those 2 months I refered migrated like 200 people. Just don't care anymore.

Well, I guess this just goes to show what really motivates people...not the willingness to succeed, but to get "free stuff." Hmmm....no better than the customers coming in saying "we owe them something." Do us all a favor, quit your job and go work somewhere else.....you are not helping the company at all...or...just shut up and do your job the way you are supposed to.

The big part was that people wouldnt even offer the service and still put there number through this tool that gave them the credit when the customer upgraded online or in a store. They did no work to migrate the customer but still got the credit when the customer did it one of those ways, that is why they got rid of it. Because of that, I hate offering now, and hate migrations.

That did happen a bit but Cingular Audited all the big earners and if they found that they never had contact with the customer and that the notes did not support a migration offer ALL points were removed from their acct and they were no longer able to earn edge points. I personaly know 6 people who got audited. 5 passed. 😎

The guy that got caught lost 450k points he made that month + the 200k he made the month before 😈 😈 😈
The crappy part is that the people that should of gotten those points still didn't ☹️ ☹️
But I know one guy who offered on EVERY call and got 2 months of 500k+ each month LEGIT!
