Maybe...the phone she got had other better features than the free one. And maybe Verizon will fit her needs better.
Otherwise I stand by my previous statement. Customers need to grow-up and realize that the only reason they got charged these extra fees is because they didn't understand their service. I am here 24/7 to assist in going over your rate plan. I have spent 30-60 mins. going over rate plans in DETAIL where they can and cannot use their phones. What roaming is. What LD is considered and where it is considered. The difference between International LD and Local LD, etc...

No but there is a warrenty for devective phones. as for problems with the service. you should know what is when you except the service. You know, read the contract your signing. And look into what you will be paying for, before you pay for it.

1) She ended up paying for a full month of service from us, instead of paying a prorated invoice.
She ended up paying a higher activation fee with the new company.
3 opportunities to save money. Throwing money away, reasons for being stupid. If she felt that she was getting revenge on the company or felt this was her only option to get better service then switch to Cingular's GSM. i don't know. I would have at least given the other network a chance before I just packed up and went to a new company.
