Well if the customer's could only take the effort to READ the fine print.

Oh wait, that would entail personal responsibility, and that concept died in North America when the McDonald's Lady burnt her self with hot coffee.

Oh man, yeah you can sue anyone for anything now a days and WIN!!!

"Oh no, I crashed my car, I am suing the car company because of their unsafe vehicles."

OR

"Oh no I electrocuted myself in the bathtub because the TV didn't state DO NOT USE IN OR AROUND BATHTUB."

OR

"Oh no I drowned because Mother Nature forgot to put up a sign stating YOU CAN DROWN IN THIS WET STUFF IF YOU ARE BAD AT SWIMMING."

Man I should sue Mother Nature for all the crap she has caused in my life...

Did you guys hear the one about the guy that tried to sue Fear Factor for being to gross....true story.....I guess they were doing something with live rats (eating them I think) and the guy got up to get away from the TV and he felt dizzy so he fell and bumped his head.....He blamed the disgusting things that they were doing on fear factor for his misfortune. When asked why he didnt just CHANGE THE CHANNEL, he said that he didnt have time......yeah yet another lawsuit that got NOWHERE!

I'm indirect dealer that used to sell ATT. When a customer of ours who has ATT that never migrated comes to us for help, whatever the reason, it seems that Cingular Reps don't want to help them. The only seem to want to migrate them. If maybe you guys try to help them then maybe you wouldn't get so many irrate customers. By the way I'm one of them. Just waiting for my contract to end so I can go back to T-mobile, where CS reps actually like people.

Man you need to understand something..
there are 3 different types of customer call centres... orange care reps cannot assist blue customer and blue reps cannot assist orange customers it has nothing to do with not wanting to help customer we do but i we dont have the system to help the customer out...

customers need to understand reasoning behind why we canont help them before they get all mad

How would a blue customer get a blue call center then? I've always been with Cingular, so this may be a dumb question, but, if I was a blue customer, and needed help, does dialing 611 automatically get me to an orance center or are they maybe doing something wrong?

It's the phone you use and the tower you register on, from my understanding. You can dial 611 even if a phone is not connected to service. When you dial 611, you get the company that owns the tower you are registering on. I also believe that the phone you have determines which side you get transfered to. I had a Cingular customer use their old AWS phone to call 611 and ended up at me in TDMA care even though their number was in the GSM systems.

So how could a Blue person actually call a Blue help center?

I remember once I dialed 611 and got a really bad connection to T-Mobile CS. That sure threw me off.

Well, if they enter their # into the IVR it should route them to the right dept regardless. Blue care is 1-800-888-7600 and Orange care is 1-800-331-0500. It does have to do with the towers but if they are an AT&T/Cingular cust if they enter their # into the IVR it will take them to the proper care dept.

Ahh, so they're not totally helpless. That's what I assumed, but the wording of one of the posts threw me off.

It is to my understanding that you are switching to T-Mobile because of what you read in here? A couple reps who say negative things about customers. You do realize that T-Mobile will have people exactly like us there?
