ok here ya go lilsmurfy

okay i have seen complaints on here running back and forth

from customers venting on us.. us venting on them... rep venting at other reps and vice versa

this is how i am going to handle this situation

for now on.. i will not post any threads on here that disregard customers in any way...
however everytime i get a cutomer who calls in and vents to me i will post a thread on here explaining what happened... that way we can see how many customers a day call in and verbally abuse us... i also encourage other reps to do this exact same thing

i love helping customers.. and in some cases i understand customer frustration becasue i looking at our system and seeing how things work, out customers do not see wh...

That sounds fair enough.....That sounds like a good plan actually.....but you know that your posts will get alot of negative responses.....right???

yes my post will get alot of negative responses.. i know this... i dont really see a reason for it though...

i mean customer wants to be treated with respect and dignity and know that they are cared about....
obviously they know when they call in an call us every name under the sun.. they know we dont get off that call and say
" wow he was great" or " wow she was awesome"

i look forward to reading negative responses or positive from this thread... just because honestly.. cluster deserve respect but so do customer care reps as well..

we give our all everyday to help customers and we get put through hell to deliver what we give... we have to deliver the bad news of
"outages" and different things.. its not an easy job... but a...

Yeah thats true....but what I mean is there are going to be other reps that bash customers in response to your posts, then the customers are going to jump in......then a few of our friendly VERIZON reps will come and berate our customer service and it will be a never ending rant, then the next day we'll still come to work to find the QUIT WHINING posts......I dont know......its a viscious circle

Whoever thinks we don't have a right to rant or vent should come do our job for 8 hours and see if they are all smiles and giggles. We need to vent and get it out here so the next person that beeps into our line doesn't get shooty service cause we're angry over the last call. Cingular doesn't care about the customers but I still do. If you don't like to read my rants and my venting then don't read it!

when I vent it's not necessarily just ALWAYS because the customer made me frustrated, sometimes I am frustrated with the policies and procedures that we have to follow as well and then it all comes out wrong.....OH well......maternity leave on july 29th THANK GOD

from reading the majority of these posts, i'm guessing most of you are reps in the call center. i am in a store...8 hrs a day...dealing with these gripes face 2 face. i want to post here about my daily dealings and stuff too (can i can i??? 😢 )

Dealing with these people face 2 face is harder i think ONLY because it is so tempting to take off my heal and hit them upside the head.

Here's an example of a moron i had to deal with...he has a moto v220 and was in another area and had a problem with his phone. he took it in to a local cingular agent there and ended up buying a new battery. after he left he discovered the guy put in a dummy sim card for that market. he came into my store as hateful as can be (as if it was MY fault)...

well i would honestly like to work in retail becasue i find it alot easier to deal with irate people in person, when you are over the phone its to easy to sit there and be an idiot casue i mean what the cxhance of getting that person back...

i worked at a place one time where i had customer yelling at me face to face.. and i was easily able to sit there and be like.. this is what you need to know or this is what you need to do...

your always gonan get people who have no consideration but i mean... being nice to them makes them even madder

Sure, post with us. The more the merrier but things do get kinda heated once in a while so beware 🙂 We just like to have a place to vent between calls and sometimes some of us (most of us) get a little (sometimes alot) carried away.
