For too long now we have been focusing our anger, our bile, our bloodthirsty vitrol onto the only person we can. I of course, am talking about the customer. We have turned fighting with them over piddling amounts of money into the glorious sport of kings. We have become truly masterful at the art of saying no. But I must ask you, why?

Don't bother giving out credits to get back at Cingular, go one up on them and do what is right for the customer, if Cingular does something that is not ethical, fix it. If a rep does something that is not in the best interest to the customer, fix it. Do the best that you can for every customer you talk to. Read your P&P's, fallow your P&P's, it is amazing the things you can do for customers. Look over their plan, look into different options for them, you are the one that they are looking to when they need help and customer service. If they are not happy find a common ground to stand on and then be (the terrible word) proactive, educate the customer. An educated customer is your best friend. I agree, it's time we stabbed back at the very thing that has made most of us unhappy with this job. I enjoyed AWS and the trust and adjust policy, I fought so hard to save the company it's money when the customer was clearly wrong. When the customer was right, I fixed the mistake fully.
When they wanted to upgrade, we had the option of looking at their value and applying credits, if we felt like it, to reduce their costs in getting a new phone. The promotions we could offer was both good and bad but non-the-less, I enjoyed renewing a contract for a customer just to give them more minutes for their current plan.

Cingular has already changed bill adjustment policy several times it will change again. Plus I doubt Kathy Dowling is haking because of the revolution that you guys are starting. You work for Cingular you have to follow policy or leave that is the bottom line.

We are following policy and using the loop holes we have. I had a customer want a free phone, I obviously cannot accommodate so I sent over to Save Team, they stated they could offer.

Somebody didn't have their coffee this morning. It's obvious that Cingular is handling the merger wrong. I get yelled at every single day by a customer that is unhappy about it, and read a new post every hour about a bad experience. I'll join the revolution..not only to get back at Cingular, but to do what is right for the customer within all means I have been given.

I have posted a lot about my own situtation. I will probly be laid off due to this merger. Nobody is saying that I will be laid off but my managers know a lot more than they are telling us reps. What I am saying is I will take my paycheck and do my job. Protocol is not a problem for me becuase if I can justify it I will do it.
