Cant send MMs (need help)
I have a v551 an im aware that the capacity to send any multimedia through cingular wireless is 100 kb. Im tryin to send a 99kb mms an it wont let me send it. what could be the problem?

One can you actually send any other MMS? can you use mmode? any problems? also is there text included with the message? that can be putting the message at just over 100kb. Do you get any error message? if so what? have you checked with cingular to make sure that your IMEI matches with what you are using? I do know that with many Moto phones this can cause a problem? are you a blue or orange customer? do you have an mmode plan? at least on the blue side without some sort of plan you can have problems acc...

Where are you located, there are issues with MMS not working in several areas, its a service issue in several parts of country, mainly in NE region

Im located in southern California. Im a cingular customer an i could receive text just had problems sendin and receiving mms. If i received a mms i could get it ok on my phone just couldnt download it. I knew there was a problem because whenever i d/l i get a lil box with some arrows a that didnt even show up. this morning everythng is working i just sent a mms that was 99kb. so whatever happend it seems to be fixed.

Do they have an ETR on it yet? We haven't heard anything where i am, just that there's a problem and they're working on it âšī¸

Nope, we are still getting calls on it. If it weren't for a friend of mine in tech we never would have known. They still haven't sent out the "official" email on it.

lol, we at least got the official e-mail stating that there was a problem, but nothing else.
