All the hype these days is about 3G mobile services, like Ev-Do high speed broadband recently expanded to over 40 markets via VZW.

The last thing I heard is the Cingular is expecting to launch 15 markets to UMTS by the end of this year. If that's the case, that is doesn't even come close to competition. Any updates or news on Cingular's answer to 3G and where it's going to be available first?

And on the subject on bigger and better things, anything great coming in terms of new phones? I heard that July is going to be a great month for new releases...any specifics?

I have no actual information on the set markets, but I would assume that Cleveland or Cincinnati would get the service first, just because it seems like they always get the good stuff first.
