I do not normally agree with a lot of things you say but this time I agree. I use to come on here and read this for information and to see what customer's were saying because that is what this forum is about.

They are not naive. They are inconsiderate fools. Me and you both work in stores and we deal with people face to face. I worked a call center before and I will take that beating any day over people screaming in your face because someone on the phone like a lot of these people on our forum told them off. The average consumer does not care about our policies and they only thing about themselves but the fact is this forum is suppose to be for information and all I see is worthless employee bashing of customers.

To you people that th...

Once again, I will tell you, as other people have said here. We may be employed by cell phone companies, be it Cingular, Verizon, whatever. But we are by no means OWNED by our employers. Last time I checked we have freedom of speech. Now I admit, it may be a bit childish to post some of the things we do on here, but this is the INTERNET. We are simply people. So we have a different perspective on things because of our job. And I have worked both retail sales, and call centers. You do have my sympathies. I have dealt with some psychopath customers face to face. One lady actually almost got kicked out of Walmart for going super psycho on me (Yes, I worked at a kiosk in Walmart once). But last time I check, I was an employee of a wir...

You know being a father I would think you could understand that when rules are set in place you follow them. The rules are no complaining on these forums. This is for information not employee chit chat they made the lounge forum for a reason. I treat everyone very nice. I do not yell on the phones. I worked a call center I understand what it is like and I am respectful of that. In fact if my employees get attitudes with someone on the phone I tell them about it and I make sure it does not happen again. No one deserves to be treated poorly. We are all human beings with feelings and that needs to be respected. It takes the better person to not act childish when someone else is being a jerk. That is part of being an adult but a lot of people wi...

Yes, I expect my son to obey me. I don't presume to tell anyone besides my own child to do what I say though.

However!

Is the phonescoop admin my father?

Is the cingular CEO my father?

I don't presume to tell other what to do. I don't think others should presume to tell me what to do.

Sorry I had no access to the lounge. Subconsciously I continued to use these forums even after they gave us access to the lounge. Sometimes they still manage to take that from us so I keep it here because I can't post it there.

Looks like so far so good, I think I might start posting in the lounge then because it has given me access to it so far.

I understand how you feel sometimes, but people really need to learn to accept it as part of the job and let it go. I am not going to sit here and tell you no one has ever yelled at me but I can tell you I don't let it bother me. In my younger days I did, but that is part of maturing (BTW, I am now 31).

1) I know I didn't cause it and I know I tried to help them

2) I take personal responsibility of by my actions or inactions I (or my employees) cause a problem.

There are far too many things in this world to worry about other than upset customers (if you didn't cause it). The amount of time spent here discussing trivial things instead of leaving this forum for what was intended is why I express my concerns. If one person sees t...

I agree with Texaswireless most of the time in principle, but this setting is what we make of it.
I have worked in customer service type jobs my entire life, and I have done some crazy stuff to satisfy them.
This forum is educational for the customers. They can learn much about phones and phone carriers without ever entering the forum. I myself didnt even register the fact that there were forums on this website for two months. Not because I am dumb, but because I didnt need it.
Obviously I found it worth my time now, and the subject matter doesnt change very much. A
lot of other folks seem to enjoy ripping on customers and other reps.
The reason I post is because I like to make my voice heard, and I like to argue, but mostl...
