Just wondering if anyone can tell me if the following phones are coming out for Cingular soon?
LG C2000 Phone
LG C1500 Phone
Nokia 6101
any new samsung flips?
...
I don't work for Cingular but I believe the LG C1500 is actually listed on one of their sites as a MediaNet compatible phone which is often listed right before the phone is released.
Just wondering, but why are you interested? Have you decided to stay with Cingular, or are you still switching service to T-Mobile?

I dont know yet. I cant get a definite answer from cingular what my termination fee is. Ive been told 240, 100, 150, 40, 80, and between 30 and 50 dollars by about 8 different people. Plus I cant find a phone at T-Mobile I want yet and I dont want to just make a drastic decission and be stuck with a phone I dont like and screw myself in the end, know what I mean? Verizons phones are huge and dull, T-Mobiles phones are pretty old now and the e335 is too new to know if its good or not, ive read some reviews saying the sound quality is bad, id be switching from one bad phone to another if thats the case. Its not an issue which I need to act immediatly.

The Samsung X497 and Nokia 6682 are two more new phones for Cingular. All of the mobiles should be out within the next 30 to 60 days.
...
cant find the x497 anywhere. I like flip phones and ive never used a Nokia flip, only samsungs, but i need a loud clear speaker on my phone, samsungs just havent fit that mold yet.
...
Then Samsung is not for you. They look nice, sure but they simply manufacture their phones to a lower volume level. it's even prevelent in their ringtones. Soft, very soft. Sorry. Look at Motorola.
...
so is it all samsungs that are like that or just my model phone? my e715 at tmobile wasnt as bad as this one. ive never used a nokia flip, although my 3360 a while back was pretty loud.
...
Per the LG rep they should be out in September.
...
how about the nokia flip, whats that one coming out?
...
Haven't received any dates on that one.

Homeslice,
I've been following your posts for a while because I'm with Cingular and I'm not happy with it. I have had a lot of issues with Cingular including bad reception and I have been considering switching to T-mobile. Yesterday I got a plan with T-mobile and have already seen an increase in my reception although maybe not as much as I would like. I am still considering switching to Verizon but, like you, I don't like their phones. They are too big and I hate that they've crippled bluetooth and don't allow you to download ringtones from non-Verizon sites. Verizon likes to nickle and dime their customers, taking away anything free and making them buy everything from Verizon. But they seem to have the best reception in general.

I forgot to mention that the speaker phone on the v330 is good. It's loud, that's for sure. The clarity is good enough for me and it's better than a lot of speaker phones I've heard.

T-Mobile's coverage area is small. It works however much better at my house than Cingular does. The only reason I left and went to Cingular was because I get 8.10 off my bill every month because of where I work. Although I still only pay about 4 dollars less every month compared to T-Mobile which is why I am considering going back. My Cingular phone dropped my customer service call to Cingular this morning in the middle of talking to a rep, the second rep had to call me at home because he could not hear me.
Verizons phones are horrible and I am not so sure I like only having 450 minutes to talk. I use about 350 plus M2M at Cingular and I think I might go over. My only other options are Sprint and T-Mobile, or Verizon if they get new phon...
