Dropped Calls

I am starting to experience more dropped calls moving between towers. I was wondering if this is due to Cingular removing TDMA bandwidth/towers or whatever. Yes, I am still a TDMA user as I have a great plan and nothing competes with it now. Nor is the added benefit worth moving up.

Any ideas on why the quality is dropping? Is it due to Congular phasing out TDMA?

Thanks,
Mark

Its due to the network consolidation.
Your phone recognizes one frequency automatically but with the two being consolidation your phones a bit uh, confused?
Thats it in its simplist terms. Call into care, they have the ability to see if theres any outages in your area.

Don't waste your time calling in; there is nothing CARE can do.

The truth is that TDMA is NOT a priority. GSM is the new technology. If there is a TDMA tower problem, it will get shifted to the rear burner.

And YES, Cingular is shutting off TDMA in some markets it bought from AT&T.

No no, theres nothing CARE can do... 🙄 but they can provide further information and options for upgrading to GSM and fix this roadblock.
