Information Needed From Professional Cingular Employees

I am contemplating perhaps using Cingular (I was all set on using Verizon but right now I don't see any phones that I like).

Can you convince me that the Cingular network (particularly in Las Vegas and the Central Coast of California) is as good if not better than Verizon?

Also, is there one phone which stands out above the rest which is clear and strong in reception (both earpiece and speakerphone)- I don't care about MP3 (although a decent camera would be nice) - and it must have Bluetooth?

Thanks

The Sony Eriksson 710 A seems to get a better user rating and appears to be a later released phone - is that phone a viable option?

the Sony Ericsson s710 is a great phone. i use it personally. i have also used both motorolas. all are nice. in my opinion if you are going to go with one of the moto's... save your money and get the v551. pretty much the same features and the v3 but the v551 has video capture. the s710 far out weighs both phones in the sense of features. the only problem with the s710 is the battery life. its pretty bad, honestly, but so is the v3's battery life. the s710 gives the best picture and video of the 3 and the bluetooth connection is much easier and more reliable.

As far as your question concerning phones I typically reccomd the v551, simply price VS features of the phone, after pain stakingly reading many many cusotmer reviews and feedbacks about this deivce most common con's include battery life as well as phone software, many people find navigating the phone unlogical however the device is bluetooth capable, has camera and flip phone as well as a textured grip to help avoid slippage of the phone. I have not put as much research into the Sony Ericsson S710a however if you read the reviews many of them reflect positive feedback. So the Ericsson has a 4.38 rating and a higher price tag but if you find you do use your phone alot I believe their is an investment in having a superior device.

Cingular has the largest voice and data network in the country. Period. There's no ifs ands or buts about it, especially near vegas. I'm in central utah so i know for a fact that reception is superb. The phone you would want would be the razr, probably black since its exclusive. It gets the best reception of any phone, just check phone scoops review. Also, it has bluetooth and the clarity between the phone and a moto headset is phenomenal, top of class. The only trouble you might run into is the screen glare from the vegas sun. Other than that, your chariot awaits you.

I want to make a $100 bet. You take the Razr and I will use the Nokia 6320 or the newer Nokia 6670. Each time one of us has a signal and the other does not; the winner gets $100/// $1,000 max.

The Treo actually gets better reception than the Razr. At least mine does anyway.
