Why is Razr Black so cheap at Buy.com, and is it safe to purchase a cingular phone there?

I see the Razr black is free after rebates and 2 yr contract at Buy.com. Even at my corporate discount price, it is $200 through cingular. If I can add the new account to my corporate discount plan for monthly service, why would I not want to get the phone at buy.com? Anyone have any bad experiences with this? What's the catch?

Thanks

Larry

Actually, you most likely will not be able to get the phone from buy.com and get your corporate service discount.

buy.com, and many others like them, require full commission on select rate plans to get those deals. Once your FAN is added to your account giving you the discount buy.com will most likely get a small chargeback (based on the new "lower" monthly service rate. That will immediately disqualify you from their rebate.

If you enjoy fine print and jumping through hoops like a circus tiger then go for it.
