Rebate??
Does anyone know how long it'll take for Cingular to get the rebate stuff? I sent it in over a month ago, and when I go to check it, there's no record they've even received it. Should I call in and ask about it, or is this normal?

well see it can take 4-6 weeks to get it back..if it reaches 6 weeks and they havent gotten it yet.. call in to the rebate centre

The form says 10-12 weeks after it's been received and verified. 'sigh' I think this happened last time I sent in for a rebate through Cingular. I wouldn't be worrying so much if they would at least post they received the thing. I'd hate to wait the 12 weeks, call in, and be told that I took too long to call in or something. Maybe I'll give them a ring next week.
One thing though. The phone is on the wrong number in Cingular's system. Here's what happened (for the bored ones)... My mom has a SE T225 and I have a V400. Hers quit working (maybe fell in water???). We're both on a FT plan, by the way. We go online to look at new phones to buy and decided to check how long until she can upgrade. It's our lucky day, she can upgrade ...

Yes it can. I would call cingular and have them switch the imei's back to the way that they should be. Your rebate is probably on its way back to you and that is why they are saying that they have not recieved it. I thought that it was supposed to show if they had recieved it and sent it back though, so I dont know for sure. But before you do anything I would change the imei's first. Then I would call and tell the rebate department what is going on and ask what you should do. I would not wait to call.
