unlocked V635 congigured for Cingular blue?
Can a unlocked V635 be configured for the old AT&T mmode and other services by going to the Cingular AT&T users site and selecting the V600 settings to send the configuration over the air?

I carry an unlocked V635 that I used on Cingular. I had to manually configure the WIX and MMS settings. It works perfect. CIngular can not send the settings over the air.

unsupported devices cannot get over the air reprogram. in fact even some supported devices have to be manually programed. if you go to support.cingular.com for former attws devices you can get the settings how it is actually put in for your particular device we cannot really help you but the settings are the same.

I believe I used the following to setup my v635 for Cingular Blue. I chose v600 as the phone (which actually was the phone I had replaced, so I could double check things there as well.)

The hardest part for me was to allow java apps to access GPRS, it turned out there was a locked web session I had to delete that tried to service all my Java requests. After I removed that everything worked like a charm.
