Soon to be Cingularian

Hey everyone, I'm going to be switching from Sprint to Cingular soon, and I was wondering if I could ask a few questions.

-What is everyone's opinion about which is the best Cingular phone right now?

-Is there a dedicated Cingular site like there is for sprint? (sprintusers.com) That site helped me out A LOT, so I was wondering if there is a Cingular equivalent.

-Can Cingular phones use mp3s/aacs as ringtones?

-Are there any phones coming out in the next few weeks that I should wait for before joining up, so as to get the new customer rebate?

-Are there anythings that I should be psyched about, leaving sprint and joining Cingular? hehe...

Thanks for everyone's help. I look forward to seeing all your responses.

Cingular.com does have a forum to chat in once you log into your account.

The 6230 and the V551 are probably my favorite phones on the account. If you use MP3's, you might look into that 6230 more.

I don't personally feel there are any new great phones on the immediate horizon.

techguy amswered alot. If you want MP3, then the 6230 before it is gone is a good choice for the price, but I would say that the best phone that we have right now is the Sony S710. Better camera, better sound, more features...

There are new phones fixing to come out, but I dont think that they will fit your needs, but they may.

thanx alot tech and adams. I have been considering the s710, but i'll be leaving the sanyo 5600 for sprint, so i may have a problem with the 128 mb limit on media cards. we'll see. hopefully that d600 comes out soon.
