Not getitng voicemail notification
OK so its 11:40am on Monday. I called in my voicemail, I had 3 from yesterday that it never said I had. Why is that and how do i fix it? It has always sent me notificaton.

have you ever had text messaging turned off? if you have then we need to place the admintxt only feature to your account. if we simply removed the text messaging feature then you wont get your message waiting indicator.
or like simplymarcus said.. it could just not be working, but thats more of a network issue and would impact mroe people than just yourself.

this has only happened a few times since i got the phone. Today i missed a call and it sent me the message waiting indicator. Must have just been a fluke, sucks that one message was inviting me to the local italian festival and i didnt get it! Oh well.

a lot of times my problems are with the phone i have so that might be it too. I have the samsung e317 and its horrible, still waiting on the nokia 6102.

There was a thread here last week about this, I believe. Someone said there were system problems that affected voicemail notification. It was somehow related to recent hurricanes. Anyone remember reading that?

I did not read it, but I know that there have been issues with voicemail because the software that handles the server was changed as well as the server. Some customers were getting voicemails and no indicator; others could not get the indicator to go off, eventhough they had no voicemails.
I have been successful with some of these issues by turning off the phone, calling the # and leaving a message. Then call voicemail and use * to exit after deleting the test voicemail.
