Me and the people at the store i work at are glad to see them go. they caused nothing but double work for us and were the reason that our cor kiosk in the mall got closed.

That is actually a good read on their website. The best is their CEO expecting Cingular to step-in... He's probably the reason they're in this boat...

yeah i work for a competing super regional carrier and we have PCS division in almost all the malls we are located in. I have to say they are the shadyest company out there. Its against our company policy to talk down on our competitors, but PCS talked s**t about us all day long. They would lie to people and tell them we charge extra for voicemail, that our reception is the worst in the area, and anything else they could make up on the spot. And not only that, but they thought it would be funny to put all thier customers home phone numbers as our store number instead. So everytime a PCS cingular customer didnt pay thier bill, cingular would call our store wanting to talk to the customer. We probably averaged 15 calls a day from cingula...

LOL!!!!! That's so f'n awesome. We had 2 PCS kiosks in the same mall and heard the exact same stuff that you did. Glad to hear that they were gonna get chargebacks for putting in the wrong phone number.

yeah mobile solutions can be bogus sometimes too but they havnt been to bad this year to us anyways, we've been getting along with them just fine. PCS definately takes the cake though.

I'm new here (at least to posting), but I read these boards quite a bit during work if we're slow (thanks to the firewall Cingular provides in the call centers, I can't actually POST during work, but I can read).
Anyway...all I can say is THANK GOD. There was a PCS store in my hometown mall in Illinois, and they were terrible. Drove other stores out of that wing of the mall, harassed customers left and right, gave out false info, and then when I was at the tux shop in June to pick up my tux for my wedding actually physically had an agent grab my arm after I started to walk away (I never really stopped anyway) and try to get me to stay while he tried to sell me a phone. 😳 It wasn't a very effective technique - I reported the incident ...
