the reason is because this is nokia first gsm flip phone, and there are tons of people i talk to daily, who want a nokia phone but also want a flip phone, plus its a cheaper phone (price wise) yet it has most everything i a phone you could want ( except bluetooth) which honestly if you "need" a phone with bluetooth this is not the kind of phone someone is going to be looking at, its afforable, and has all the goody gadets most people want,, cameer, video capture, mp3, etc that is why

I can't wait! But I did forget that it's not going to have Bluetooth, which is something I use but don't necesasarily need. Still, it will be an affordable option for my customers. 😁

People in my particular store have been waiting forever for the trusted Nokia to come out with a good flip phone. Nokia has been around since the beginning of cellular phone technology. People have come accustomed to the user interface. Even taking into consideration that it is a "mid-tier" flip phone, i think it will sell very well. Nokia's generally are reliable.

come on. you said it yourself, its mid tier. why would a customer pay twice as much as the e317 to get practically the same features? I think smart reps are gonna sway customers away from the 6102

it's more expensive AFTER rebate. without the rebate, the 6102 is $10 cheaper.

it is due out sometime in sept... can't get anymore from csp and our nokia rep, but it is coming. it fits the timetable because employees are supposed to be getting a ptt phone in sept. I would love for this to be one of the ones we choose from 🙂
