How to win over Verizon loyalists.
2: Plans are exactly the same on individual line. add-a-line is 9.99 for both. Both off nights, weekends, no roaming, free ld, and mobile-to-mobile. Difference: Rollover included at same price.
3: Edge internet. Verizon is still running at 56k in several areas of the country, especially the west. Edge is in place everywhere at 120-160k
4: The winning network type. GSM is international. Everyone else (Europe, Asia, Africa, etc) has chosen to go with the same system as cingular. Verizon has Sprint behind em, Cingular has the rest of the world with em.

Funny... in my area (SF/SJ Bay Area), Cingular's add-a-line is still 14.99.
September first those price changes take effect. Spring's just jumping the gun a little. 🙂

I added two lines on 8/12, and it was indeed still 14.99 per line. If this changes on 9/1, what recourse do I have. 😡

with cingular u can change ur rate plan at anytime. when it comes out...... CHANGE IT! just be sure u change on ur bill cycle date to avoid prorated charges..
Oh yeah, and not to mention that Cingular rates near LAST in nearly every poll for call quality, customer care, and overall cellular experience. Who rates at the top in EVERY poll?
ps, please make it a credable source, not gary's cellular blog. ie: find a washington times, cnn, time, newsweek, etc. and your asst managers word isnt credable, no matter how much he swears by it 🤣
Get real. 🙄
also my cingular keeps on cutting me off
the only plus of gsm is it uses less battery!

Also, Consumer Reports, year after year, in every single city it tested, has Verizon as no. 1. Can't provide a link as you have to be a member of their site to log in ($2.50 per month I think), or buy the magazine.
