I have heard PTT is expected to roll out 4Q 2005! I am hoping Cingular will have the Motorola SLVR (V8 or V6) ...now being called the L7...whatever...I just hope they will have this for PTT, and I hope the PTT comes out like NOW!

I already discussed PTT. Pricing will be 9.99 unlimited for a single line and 19.99 unlimited family talk plan. October is when PTT will launch.

PTT will launch in sept for business customers, and oct 15 to the general public.
all employees are getting a second cou line with the samsung x357 either late sept, or early oct.
Why a second cou line? well, cingular wants us to demonstrate how to send pics still, and neither ptt phone has a camera... so now we need to carry around 2 cou's and a personal cell phone.... we're gonna have phones all the way around our belts soon...

the prices havent changed. they are probobly just making adjustments to the billing system. you wont see the final SOC's until a couple days before.
its a D357, not an X357
but it's a bluetooth PTT phone...nice...i just hope you can PTT using a BT headset. that would be nice. (no annoying public conversations)

I heard from my ARSM that only rsc's are getting the d357, and it won't be a second cou line, just another phone to put on your existing line. this could be market/region specific.

I got to play with the lg phone that will be the first one available for ptt service. its a slider phone, but it feels kind of cheep.

The launch was delayed so that ther will be two offeriings in October. The two phones are the LG 7200 and the Samsung D357

there is info on the Cingular developer site, but A. it takes a little looking to find it, and B. there's no picture of it, only specs

I can't find anything about it on CSP. I did recieve communication that they want to release it to reps when we launch ptt (at least in my market) Any other clues on where to look. I found one photo at http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?th readid=706072
