HELP!!!! (I know you all have the correct info)
ok, I have a motorola V505 which is for AT&T. I unlocked it using the subsidy passcode to use for cingular. text, pic and video messaging is not working. Is there a fix for that or am I just SOL?

Call Motorola directly...they should have what you need. You're not going to get it anywhere else unless you stumble upon it online. The subsidy code usually only unlocks voice.

you're not going to be able to use MMS or MediaNet no matter what you do, for whatever reason its not possible to just unlock the phone and use MMS, even if you change the settings. Believe me, we've tried everything short of flashing the phone.

lol thanks, maybe I can tell tech support who are trying to help me now that it is not possible....that sucks but oh well. I stil have to other lines I carry that can do MMS...

incorrect, the settings just need to be sent to the phone. you can also by a data cable and edit the seem files directly, but I would recommend just going to the above posted links.

yea use the links, or go find a friendly rep who will do it for you... recently did a v505 from att, and a v220 from dobson. you just have to change the settings on the phone. if it doesnt work the first time, try it again.
