Just a plain fact, not one time in five years with Verizon. Never 😳

That's great. And I like eating half of a large pizza after about 10 shots of tequilla. But do either of these useless posts belong in the Cingular forum? NO 🙄

I prefer Jager or Goldschlager, I agree, I am a VZW fanboy but this phone has no point being herewhatsover except to start a flame war.

I'm not a fan of any company. But one of the "overly sensitive" people could say having your blue tooth phone crippled "isn't normal" either. 🙂

true that about bluetooth but I'll take that crippled over static and dropped calls! What good is bluetooth when the phone doesn't work?

GSM phones don't produce static, the signal drops off instead. A poor call quality would result in you only hearing a few of the words spoken. If you hear hissing or static, then something is wrong with your phone.

Dropped calls are a minor issue. Redial works well. After all it's wireless technology. I have very rarely dropped a call on my Verizon phone though. If I can make a call it sticks.

I can't say I agree with you there. There are people I know who have cingular for the time being and they constantly complain about static and breakups as you mentioned, as well as plenty of dropped calls. I just don't think the call quality on gsm is anywhere near that of cdma. You sell cdma service as well as gsm right? So I'm sure this isn't the first time you've heard this

Digital does not produce static. So the static would be coming from your phone. The only time you will hear static is if you're roaming on analog. Which is on...guess what, CDMA. That's not to say one technology is better than the other. Just stating facts about static...

Good for you. In my area, drops calls *are* normal for Verizon, which is why I'm switching to Cingular. Verizon used to be great here 2 1/2 years ago, but everyone I know is jumping ship to another carrier because of how bad coverage is now.
