motorola v551 symbol not in the book
Right next to the signal strength indicator there is a symbol. It looks like an E with a green and red line under it. Anybody know what that symbol is for..... thanks and let me know.....

I believe that's the edge symbol.... the original 551's were gprs, not edge. so ur book probably refers to 2 little boxes with lines connecting them in a square shape...

it's for the internet, it's the step above gprs, a lil faster. it was decided to just add it to the v551 because its a popular phone. It was never really pushed that it had it though.. it kinda just appeared
